  33.     David the reason why Mark sais that HAM8 is better then NTSC out
  34. of DCTV is because of 2 simple reasons. The DCTV encoder is not the best
  35. thing out there... and while it is nice for home use it does give off alot
  36. of fringing and blurring. The other reason behind this is that it is
  37. actually a 320 x 400 (+Overscan) format to start with since the conversion
  38. is direct.

  40.     HAM8... is digital it is a ham format and it can be displayed at
  41. any resolution with a SCAN converter although using the Toaster you can
  42. definately have 30 FPS in 736 x 482 down to tape. The format is real sharp
  43. (even when droped down to tape... alhtough you have to watch your colors
  44. and do not go over the NTSC bandwith).
